Export Packing, Voltage and Plug Options for Tile Tools

Tile tools are bulky, partly fragile and electrically regulated. Packing and configuration decisions affect freight cost, customs clearance and damage claims at destination.

Export Packing, Voltage and Plug Options for Tile Tools

A 1300 mm manual cutter and a rail bridge saw present opposite problems. One is long and light, the other is compact and heavy. Both need a packing plan that matches how the destination warehouse will actually handle them.

How we pack by product type

  • Manual cutters: individual cartons with foam inserts protecting the rail and breaking foot, master cartons banded onto pallets.
  • Electric saws: plywood cases for bench and bridge machines, cartons for portable saws, cables and hoses coiled separately.
  • Tile vibrators: blow mould cases with the battery and charger separated from the motor body.
  • Suction cups and lifters: cartons with pad protection, frames disassembled to reduce volume.
  • Diamond blades: small boxes grouped into cartons, with blade diameter and rim type printed on the outer label.

Voltage, plug and documentation

Electric models are produced in 110V, 220V, 230V and 240V versions with EU, UK, US and AU plugs. The configuration must be stated on the order, because a mixed container of plug types is a common cause of customs questions and trade counter returns.

For European destinations we supply CE documentation, EMC and RoHS reports and a declaration of conformity per model. Private label cartons, printed pallet labels and destination-specific marking are produced to the buyer's specification when the order is confirmed.
